May 2011 marks four years of Mauricio Santana, better known as Tux, as a photographer.

He began self-taught sharing his passion for photography with a job that could pay the bills. Today, as a professional photographer, he uses all his free time available to study, research and increase his portfolio. Besides shooting bands (his specialty) in promo pictures or on stage, he is also improving his clicks on other areas.

Something that began as a challenge, today it's part of a enviable and recognized job by many artists who use his photos in their official websites, MySpace pages and countless flyers.

In a world which says that nothing else can be invented, he can print, with great personality, his ideas and he's already identified by his so particular point of view through the camera.

He's not only a band photographer, but an artist of feelings and emotions.

Começou autodidata, dividindo-se entre a paixão pela fotografia e um trabalho que pagava as contas. Hoje, profissional, utiliza todo o tempo livre possível para estudar, pesquisar e aumentar seu portfólio. Além de clicar bandas (a sua especialidade) em fotos promo ou on stage, ele também segue aprimorando clicks em outras áreas.

Algo que começou como um desafio, hoje é parte de um trabalho invejável e reconhecido por muitos artistas que utilizam as fotos em seus sites oficiais, páginas do Myspace e inúmeros flyers.

No mundo em que se diz que nada mais se inventa, com muita personalidade, ele consegue imprimir sua ideia e já é identificado por seu olhar tão particular.

Mauricio não é só um fotógrafo de bandas, mas um artista de sentimentos, emoções e muito feeling.
